AIS INTERFACE

• AIS transponders are fitted to all merchant

ships, giving static & dynamic data of

vessels movements

• Observer displays ships on map

• “MORE INFO” gives data

• DIR-TO, camera pointing etc

• Observer can exchange text messages with

ships via the AIS interface & track message

history

• Current systems interface to the SAAB R4A

and Avionetics TX 20 AIS Transponder.

• Version 3.15 adds AIS connect in secure

mode and configure MMSI identity and own

ship name & call sign for the R4A.
